School Success Associate

Anyone who's spent time in a school knows that an educator's job is hard, and teachers and administrators are expected to juggle many responsibilities. Great software can help schools run smoothly and, at DeansList, our goal is to help teachers and administrators be more effective while making their jobs easier.

A School Success Associate's day is never the same. This role is 33% consultant/master-problem-solver, 33% support ninja, and 33% product manager. Associates work closely with school leaders to understand their ideas for improving their school, and show them how DeansList can put those plans into practice. They solve real challenges that schools struggle with every day by recommending best practices and by coming up with great ideas that truly make a difference for students. School Success Associates see the challenges schools face first-hand, and they have a critical voice that in guiding DeansList innovations.

Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with school leaders to understand how they want to use DeansList and translate that vision into an implementation plan
  • Train administrators and teachers to use DeansList
  • Support teachers and school leaders to ensure DeansList makes their jobs easier
  • Help create new onboarding systems that will enable us to scale to serve more schools faster
  • Create new training and support materials
  • Advise our development team on what schools are asking for and how we can constantly improve DeansList
Great candidates should:
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working in a K-12 educational institution as a teacher or administrator OR have experience working in education technology
  • Get satisfaction from finding creative solutions to difficult problems
  • Be a motivated self-starter that is comfortable multi-tasking and managing projects independently
  • Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have an affinity for technology and enjoy using the latest apps and gadgets
  • Most important: have an interest in improving education, empathy for teachers, and a desire to create great tools that will help schools be more effective
